Who I Am

As a teenager, for the first time in my life, I experienced a love that was unmatched. It was the love of Jesus Christ. Along the way, I made tons of mistakes. I let go of God and as a result, I experienced all of the repercussions that came with being separated from Him. Fortunately, I found my way back to him mid-way through my twenties and my life has never been the same.

In this reconciliation, there was a desire birthed within me to see young adults…

I’m 25, Now What?

If you have found yourself on this page, chances are you may be smack dab in the middle of a quarter-life crisis. I know, I know… you are wondering if this is even real. My friend I’ve got four words for you, “It is very real!”

Between the ages of 20 – 30 , many young adults find themselves in a period of uncertainty caused by the stress of transitioning from being a teenager to a young adult.

You may find yourself asking questions like, “Why am I here?” “Is there more to life than what I am experiencing right now?.” “What’s next?” As a matter of fact, as you look around, it seems everyone else’s life is moving forward but you’re still stagnant. No matter how you try to shake it, you just cannot get rid of these feelings.

How do I know all of this? A few years ago this was the story of my life. Those feelings of uncertainty about my future literally haunted me. The biggest challenge of all was that I did not realize that I was going through a crisis. Even worst, there were no resources available to assist me in getting through this period of my life in one piece. Quite honestly, for some time I thought something must have been totally wrong with me, but Jesus came to the rescue.

If you find yourself in this quarter-life crisis, know that there are countless young people experiencing these same feelings. Young men and women all around the world find themselves feeling lost, hopeless, purposeless, and uncertain about their future during this time.

Fast forward a few years later, I am totally done with this period and all the negativity it has bought to my life. I’m a brand new person and I could not be more content. In “I’m 25, Now What”, I pen all of my struggles and triumphs. This book is filled with practical tips, testimonies, and prayers to help you to identify your purpose, know your identity, and how to secure your future. I hold back no details, because the sooner you overcome this time in your life, the sooner you can become the fearless, courageous, best version of yourself that God wants you to be. You are an over comer!

The Pressure to Succeed

The Pressure to Succeed

It’s that time again.  A brand new year.  A brand new decade.  With the New Year comes a lot of pressure.  The pressure to flaunt your achievements or cry at your lack of achievements.  For some reason, this year feels different.  2020 is carrying a bit of a nuance...

Childhood Trauma

Childhood Trauma

I’m going to be honest. I was not sure that this was a topic that I wanted to tackle.  It’s so much easier to talk about faith and a love for Jesus.  Those topics tend to feel good.  Topics like Childhood Trauma are hard.  They are the ones that get swept under the...

Getting through Trials

Getting through Trials

Giving my life to God was the best decision that I have ever made in my life and I have never one day regretted doing so.  Now that I got that out of the way, let me confess.  Christianity was nothing like I expected. My expectation was once I gave my life to God,...
